ABOUT US
We are a dentist owned and operated dental practice located in historic Concord Massachusetts. The practice was established in 1944, offering premier dental services to our patients.
​
We offer general, and periodontist specialist dental care.
​
We offer dental services from routine dental examinations and hygiene visits, through a full range of simple to complex restorative, prosthodontic, and cosmetic treatment solutions. We also offer Invisalign, a clear brace orthodontic solution to help fix crowded or badly positioned teeth to give you a better smile, and improve your oral hygiene.

The practice recently underwent significant renovations to now offer the latest in low dose digital x-rays, dental software, intra-oral camera's, and the worlds quietest electric dental drills for a more relaxing dental experience.
Parking is available at our practice, and we are also located adjacent to Concord Commuter Rail Station.
We welcome new patients, and can offer a second opinion if needed.

We are unique in that each treatment room has its own completely independent isolated air treatment system. This technology kills airborne viruses, bacteria, mold, dust and pollen. Each room will be all yours, not shared with any other patients or their air!
COVID-19 Technology, PPE, & Infection Control

Air Treatment System:
​
Our office has made a significant investment in an air purification and sterilization treatment system which helps remove viruses, bacteria, pollen, and dust from the clinical air as well as smells and odors. These are similar to systems installed in hospital operation theaters. Each clinical room has its own, fully independent, climate controlled, and isolated air supply and purification system. Your air is not shared with other patients.
Every cubic inch of air in the office is treated and separated from other rooms. All office air passes through a polarized electrically charged custom filter to help remove these charged particles, while at the same time treating the fresh air coming back out with UV light, and ionized particles. The ionized hydroxyl ions are released into the air and destroy viruses, bacteria, and pollen. Please see video to explain the process.

Each system can purify up to 1,000 square feet of space, we have 6 times the capacity even at maximum tolerances in place. Like I said, we take your safety seriously.

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment):
​
Our staff are fitted with surgical grade PPE and are equipped with masks which have up to 99.97% filtration which are much higher standards than that recommended by the American Dental Association, OSHA, and the Mass Dental Society. In addition our staff have been supplied with surgical gowns and face shields.

Practice Software:
​
We have also invested in practice software to allow our administrative staff to work remotely and make your dental experience as streamlined, safe, and efficient as possible by completely eliminating the need to visit the front desk in the traditional fashion.
We also provide medical history forms along with other administrative forms electronically, including via text message. All of this is to prevent the public touching things.

Touch-less Payment:
​
Touch-less payment can be made via text message also. Also, tap-to-pay, and Apple pay, are available also a pay terminals.
​
You can text us when you arrive and theoretically not touch anything within the office if you wish. Our waiting rooms are only for reserved patients, they are not crowded allowing safe space between people. You may also opt to wait outside and enjoy the gardens and relax until we call you for your appointment. You will only need to meet with your clinician team wearing PPE, you do not have to meet with front desk or administrative task. It is that easy!

Cosmetic & Prosthetic Dentistry
We can provide many options for missing, discolored, crowded, spaced, and unesthetic teeth. We have many options for crowns, and we believe in explaining the pro's and con's to reach the best decision for your smile.
We have a local certified Master Technician nearby, we never send our work overseas.
Isolated Clinical Rooms
Each room has its own independent climate controlled air supply system with built in air filtration that kills airborne viruses, bacteria, mold, and pollen. This ensures that you do not have to share the same air supply as other patients. We believe this is important for your safety and comfort.
Gum Disease Therapy
Our office has a Board Certified gum disease specialist in house. A periodontist is a specialist that treats gum disease and is able to offer surigcal and non-surgical gum therapy.
Our hygienists have years of experience, this together with the latest technology, cleaning instruments, and digital x-rays provide you with a comfortable reassuring experience and 40% less radiation exposure than other digital x-rays.

Dentures
We can provide implant secured dentures for a more confident bite and smile. We have many options when it comes to dentures from simple to high end dentures. We also believe in only using local labs here in the USA.
Invisible Braces

OUR DENTISTS
Dr. Yali Lou
DMD, MDS, Phd.
Dentist
​
Dr, Lou lives in Newton and she received her first DMD from Peking University, the top university in China with highest honors in 1999.
Following 3 years residency training in Prosthodontics, she started her PH.D program in the University of HongKong. With higher education and experience, she started her Post-doc life in USA and gained second DMD degree from Boston University.
Her publications are found in many top journals: Science, Nature, Cell, J Dent.
Dr. Lou frequently takes continuing eduction courses to gain the latest techniques and procedures to provide patient best comprehensive care.
Dr. Lou is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Association, the American Academy Facial Esthetics and International Academy of oral medicine and Toxicity. Dr Lou has over twenty years experience in dentistry. In her spare time, she is a fan of photography, traveling and painting.
Dr. Robert Gyurko
DMD. PhD.
Periodontist
​
Dr. Gyurko currently serves as Director of Periodontology at Tufts University School of Dental medicine.
Dr Gyurko is a Board Certified Periodontist, and obtained his Diplomate from the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr Gyurko earned his DMD at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He has also received a PhD in Physiology from the University of Florida where he studied gene therapy.
​
He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontology at Tufts.
​
Dr Gyurko's expertise includes non-surgical and surgical treatment of gum disease and implant placement. He has numerous scientific publications in his field and has lectured both nationally and internationally.
Having an in-house periodontist improves patient care by affording better communication, and we can provide a more extensive range of services offered under the same roof. This eliminates the hassle of our patients having to travel elsewhere, set up new accounts elsewhere, deal with multiple front desks, billing statements, and it also eliminates the need to arrange for records to be transferred, or worse still, have your x-rays retaken again.
